Date: Sunday, 25th June; Morning

Workshop Aims

The use of catheter robotic technology has the potential to reduce the time of the procedure and the amount of manual skill required by the operator. In addition, catheter robots have been developed to improve catheter manipulation, positioning and stability as well as reduce the level of radiation exposure to the operator. Clinically, robotic systems have been used for arterial interventions and cardiac ablation procedures.

The Workshop will bring together researchers in academia and industry to exchange ideas on the current state-of-the-art and on the future trend in catheter robotic procedures and technologies. We welcome the submission of abstracts to this workshop.
