What is a Robotics Festival?
Tablet Academy have partnered with WPS Westward to offer schools, colleges and educational organisations the opportunity to host or take part in a free Robotics Learning Festival. These events offer teachers and pupils the opportunity to experience a wide range of Robotic solutions specifically designed for the classroom.
The details...
The Robotics Learning Festival is divided into two sections:
Pupil Workshop (09:30-14:00)* - A workshop for up to 30 pupils consisting of 1 teacher and up to 5 students from 6 different schools. Within the workshop groups complete a number of challenges involving a range of 'Classroom Ready Robotic Solutions'. The challenges will link to STEM subjects including computing, mathematics and science.
Teacher Showcase (14:30-16:30) - Following the pupil workshop, the space will be transformed into a showcase environment to allow teachers from surrounding schools to drop in to investigate the range of robotics on display in a none sales environment. There would also be the opportunity to talk with Tablet Academy personnel about how the Robots can enhance a range of curriculum subjects. The Showcase Event would be open for teachers to come and go as they wish.
